The challenge
The tesa® brand is extremely well known in Germany, above all for tesafilm® adhesive tape. However, the company achieves around 70% of its sales in industry with countless applications. It uses a decentralised product and market management system. The challenge here is to work jointly with more than 30 different contacts, with everybody following a consistent policy. This is necessary to guarantee a uniform brand presentation and to communicate very complex products and applications to B2B customers in a clearly understandable way.
The solution
Our intention right from the start was to work as an "extension" of the product management team. Everybody at our end who worked on the projects – whether as a consultant, graphic designer or copywriter – immersed themselves in the products and gained a profound understanding of them. Now we apply this know-how to new projects, which enables us to develop and implement all communication material very efficiently and effectively. At the same time, we insist on strict adherence to the corporate design so that it is consistent for all customers, and all product managers speak the same language.
