The Network for Traumatised Refugees in Lower Saxony (NTFN) carries out vital work: it enables refugees suffering from the effects of torture, persecution, war or displacement to access psychosocial and psychotherapeutic support.

We are proud to have been able to support NTFN, even in a small way, in this important mission.
LEISTUNG: Corporate Design, UX-/UI-Design
ARBEITEN: Website, Print, Social Media
As part of a structural realignment, NTFN was divided into a registered association and a non-profit limited company. This required the development of a new visual identity that would both unify and distinguish the two entities.
A newly designed logo serves as the unifying element for both parts of the organisation. In addition, an extended colour system was developed, defining two distinct yet related colour worlds—clearly differentiated, yet visually connected. This ensures the brand remains recognisable as a whole, while allowing each area to communicate its specific role.
Creating clarity,
improving access
Particularly in the sensitive context of psychosocial care, orientation is key. Therefore, the digital implementation focused not only on aesthetics, but above all on usability.
A central goal was to empower NTFN to work independently in the long term. That is why we did not just design, but primarily created systems: a flexible icon set for recurring content, social media templates, and clearly defined design guidelines for everyday use.
This ensures that the brand remains consistent in daily application—regardless of who creates the content.
Design that endures
The relaunch is more than a visual update. It creates structure, strengthens perception, and supports NTFN’s mission: improving access to psychotherapeutic care for refugees.
