Our campaign, with the slogan “Unleash Your Creativity,” aims to highlight the versatility of MakerX through a variety of inspiring projects, making this toolset appealing to a young, DIY-enthusiastic target audience.

The system consists of five battery-powered tools and is ideal for especially fine and artisanal crafting work. These activities often have a somewhat outdated or even old-fashioned image, which doesn’t align with the progressive brand image of WORX.

It quickly became clear that our visual world had to represent a different type — the professional maker.

We had only two days for production. Since we needed not only to photograph the different tools but also to create separate e-commerce videos for each of the five products, extremely precise planning of the shoot and disciplined execution were essential.

MakerX is available both online and in hardware stores. Naturally, we planned the assets from the outset to cater to both distribution channels.

Well before the actual launch of MakerX, we supported WORX with a comprehensive sell-in presentation to encourage placement of the innovative tool line in hardware stores.

At the product launch, MakerX was promoted through a multichannel campaign, for which we developed various themes tailored to specific audiences.

The distinctive visual style of the brand, consistent messaging, and the MakerX logo ensure strong brand recognition across all channels — from the website, ads, banners, and brochures to the point of sale and the brand shop in e-commerce.

The MakerX product launch impressively demonstrated that a targeted communication strategy can open up new target groups. Above all, the desire for self-realization and individuality proved to be a decisive factor in successfully establishing MakerX among Generation Y.
